The Etipack System 5 is a versatile automatic labelling system for shaped containers — elliptical, oval, square and rectangular bottles, jars and tubs in plastic, glass or metal. It applies a label to one side, or two opposite sides (front and back) in a single pass, and can be built-up to add top, bottom, tamper-evident seal and wrap-around labelling on the same line.
Where the Etipack System 1 only wraps a label around circular products, the System 5 is built for containers that aren't cylindrical — and much more. A top-hold stabilising belt holds each container steady as it passes the labelling heads, so flat and oval faces are labelled accurately at speed. Based on a modular machine body, the System 5 scales from a straightforward two-sided labeller into a complete, multi-application labelling line.
System 5 suits the food, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors, including Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) containers. It can also assemble multipacks — joining products such as wet wipes, crisp bags and snacks with a single front/back or top/bottom label.
A wide range of print units integrates directly — hot-foil, thermal-transfer and inkjet — from Etipack and leading coders including ICE/Clearmark, Markem, EIDOS and Wolke, for inline batch codes, dates, barcodes and variable data.
System 5 is available in two models:
The standard model for one- or two-sided labelling. System 5 Active runs up to 5,000 products per hour at dispensing speeds up to 20m/min, handles labels from 30–198mm wide and 10–120mm long, and takes reels up to 280mm. With a 1000W drive and a 2500×2018×1492mm footprint, it's the efficient choice for steady front-and-back production.
The high-output, fully configurable model. System 5 Modular reaches up to 8,000 products per hour at up to 30m/min, accepts a much wider label range (from 8mm wide and 8–250mm long), handles taller products up to 380mm, and offers an optional 380mm reel for longer runs between changeovers. Different labelling heads and ancillary devices can be fitted to the same body, making it the model to specify where you need multiple applications — front and back plus top, bottom, seal or wrap-around — or room to grow.
