The Etipack System 1 is a self-contained automatic wrap-around labelling system for cylindrical products — bottles, jars, tins, tubs and similar containers in plastic, glass or metal. Each machine combines an integrated conveyor, a product-rotation device and a labelling head in one compact line, so it can run on its own or be linked inline with filling and packaging equipment.
Designed for food, chemical, cosmetic and household-product applications, System 1 wraps a label around the circumference of the product in a single pass. It can also apply tamper-evident seal labels to jars and containers, with the label shaped so the seal is applied cleanly in the same operation.
Depending on the model and configuration, System 1 handles production speeds from around 50 to 200 products per minute as standard, with faster tailor-made systems available on request. A wide range of print units can be integrated — hot-foil, thermal-transfer and inkjet — from Etipack and leading coders including ICE/Clearmark, Videojet, Markem, EIDOS and Wolke, letting you add batch codes, dates, barcodes and variable data inline.
System 1 is available in three models, each striking a different balance of speed, product size and footprint:
The most compact model and the easiest to fit into a tight space. System 1 Twist handles the widest range of product diameters — from 20mm up to 100mm — and applies labels at up to 15m/min for throughput of around 3,000 products per hour. With the smallest footprint in the range and the lowest power draw (700W), it's the practical choice for lower-volume lines or where floor space is limited.
The high-speed, high-volume model. System 1 Modular reaches up to 12,000 products per hour at dispensing speeds up to 40 m/min and its configurable design lets you fit labelling heads of different widths and speeds, plus a wide range of ancillary devices, on the same machine body. An optional large-capacity 380mm reel allows longer runs between roll changes. Specify Modular for busy production lines or where output is expected to grow.
A specialist model built around a controlled product-turning action, for applications where labels need to be applied in registration matters more than raw speed. System 1 Turning runs at up to 20m/min for around 1,500 products per hour, takes products from 20mm to 80mm in diameter and also offers the optional 380mm reel. Its larger frame accommodates the turning mechanism for precise label positioning on each container.
