Etipack System 9 Carton Feeding & Labelling Machine
Automatic feeding and top labelling for flat cartons, cards, pouches and sachets
The Etipack System 9 is an automatic feeding and top-labelling system built for flat, thin products — flat (pre-erected) cartons, cards, envelopes, sachets, stand-up pouches, coupons and brochures. A special vacuum conveyor holds each item flat and still as it passes the labelling head, so even light, flimsy products are labelled with precision.
Unlike a standard top labeller, System 9 feeds and re-stacks as well as labels. An adjustable infeed magazine presents products to the vacuum belt, and an outfeed collection magazine with parallel belts re-stacks them after labelling — making it a complete feed-label-collect line for high-volume flat goods.
Capability, Modularity & Printing
System 9 applies labels up to 98mm wide and 250mm long, at up to 24,000 products per hour. Like every Etipack system, it's modular friction feeders, pick-and-place units, alarms and controls can be added to build a machine around your exact requirements. A wide range of print units integrates directly — hot-foil, thermal-transfer and inkjet — from Etipack and leading coders including ICE/Clearmark, Videojet, Markem, EIDOS and Wolke, for inline codes, dates, barcodes and variable data. For pharmaceutical carton labelling, see the Etipack Pharma range (Pharma Seal Top and System 9 Pharma).
System 9
The high-speed model. The Etipack System 9 labels up to 24,000 products per hour and handles thin products from 0.5 to 5mm thick, up to 350×260mm. With a larger frame and a 2000W three-phase drive, it's built for high-volume runs of flat cartons, cards and similar.
System 9 Light
Built for light and delicate products, the System 9 Light accepts the widest product-thickness range of the two models — from 0.1mm up to 25mm — handling everything from ultra-thin coupons and cards to thicker items, up to 290×290mm. It runs at up to 9,000 products per hour, and its compact frame and lower power draw (920W) make it the choice where product flexibility and footprint matter more than outright speed.
System 9 vs System 2
Where the Etipack System 2 labels the top of stable, rigid products such as jars, bottles and boxes, System 9 is designed for flat, thin and light products that need to be held flat by vacuum and fed from a stack.
- Coated steel chassis with stainless-steel panels - Adjustable infeed loading magazine - Vacuum (suction) conveyor belt to hold products flat - Outfeed collection magazine with parallel belts - End-of-magazine (empty) photocell - Start photocell - PLC control electronics - Touch-screen panel - Pressure-roller kit on the collection magazine
Ancillary Devices & Options
- Fitting of labelling heads, pick-and-place units and friction feeders - Print units (thermal inkjet, thermal-transfer or hot-foil) - Variable-speed control - Production controls and alarms
