manage.ID is the central hub of the PID 3SIXTY software suite: a web-based platform that takes product data from your business systems and delivers it, correctly formatted, to every printer, coder and print & apply labeller on the production floor. Rather than operators re-keying batch codes, dates and GS1 data at each machine, manage.ID pulls the information from your ERP, MES or WMS, pairs it with the right label layout, sends the finished print job to the right device at the right moment, and records what was actually printed.

manage.ID 2-way data-flow between Production and IT systems

It works hand in hand with design.ID, the label design software also from PID 3SIXTY and also available from ALS. Layouts built in design.ID become the templates that manage.ID populates and distributes across your lines and sites, so every label carries the correct data whichever machine prints it. Because manage.ID is not tied to any one hardware brand, it drives the Novexx, Logopak, EIDOS and Zebra equipment that ALS supplies and can also be connected to most printers and coders that you already have.

manage.ID is supplied in the UK and Ireland by Advanced Labelling Systems, part of the Possehl Identification Solutions (PID) Group. That means the team that installs and services your labelling hardware is the same team that configures, integrates and supports your software.

Every manage.ID licence includes a software maintenance agreement covering updates, upgrades and priority email and telephone support, with 24/7 cover available where production demands it. In the UK and Ireland that support is delivered by ALS, backed by our own engineers and the PID Group's software team.

One point of control for every identification task
All printers, coders and labellers, across every line and every site, are managed from a single browser-based screen. Nothing needs installing on the shop floor: any networked PC, tablet or terminal can access manage.ID, and user management limits each operator to the tasks they are responsible for.

Two-way data flow with your business systems
manage.ID receives orders and product data from ERP, MES and WMS systems (or from files and databases) and returns confirmation of what has been printed. Exchange can be transaction by transaction or on a schedule, so your corporate systems always reflect what actually happened on the line.

Its own database, so production keeps running
manage.ID holds its own data store rather than depending on a live link to your ERP. Product and order data can be maintained and edited within the system, and a temporary outage upstream does not stop labelling.

Drag-and-drop operation
Operators arrange the widgets they need on screen, start a production run by dragging an order onto a line, and build coding scenarios by dragging steps into sequence. Very little training is required, and most tasks can be handled by production staff rather than IT.

Coding scenarios built from reusable steps
Every product identification process is made up of small, configurable steps that can be adjusted independently. A library of preconfigured scenarios covers the common cases, so most lines can be set up without writing anything from scratch.

Compliance and traceability built in
manage.ID supports GS1 and other regulatory requirements, keeps a record of every print job for full traceability, and can verify data after printing. The result is complete transparency across the whole identification process, from the order arriving to the label leaving the line.

Fast to deploy, simple to maintain
Sites, lines and devices are set up through configuration rather than custom code, using no-code and low-code integration tools. Updates and maintenance are applied centrally, so a change made once takes effect everywhere.

Grows with your operation
Start with a single line and a handful of printers, then add devices, lines or entire sites as you need to. The same platform runs one process or a multi-site operation.

Secure by design
Encrypted database, role-based user access, and data that flows automatically from source to printer instead of being typed in by hand, removing the most common cause of labelling errors.
