The ALS 306 and ALS 309 from Novexx Solutions are high-speed, modular automatic label applicators built for demanding industrial production. They pair fast, accurate label application with a flexible modular design that fits easily into existing lines and is engineered for round-the-clock running.
The Two Models
The two models differ mainly in label width. The ALS 306 applies labels up to 6 inches (160mm) wide at up to 60m/min; the ALS 309 handles larger labels up to 9 inches (233mm) wide at up to 45m/min — the model numbers reflect this, 306 for 6-inch labels and 309 for 9-inch. Because the range is modular, an ALS 306 can later be upgraded to an ALS 309 simply by changing the apply and rewind modules, so your initial investment is future-proofed.
Modular Mounting & Integration
The label unwind unit can be mounted wherever you need it — top, left or right of the main body — and the machine can be integrated horizontally or vertically. A second unwind unit can be added so a fresh label roll is always ready when one runs out, keeping the line moving.
Easy Maintenance / Uptime
Maintenance is unusually easy. The apply module and powered rewind module pull out from the front, so access isn't limited to removing the rear cover — though you still can if you prefer. Easier maintenance means more uptime on the line.
At up to 60m/min — around 1,000 labels per minute on the ALS 306 — a push-pull system keeps web tension constant for accurate placement even at full speed, exactly what 24/7 lines demand.
Automatic Product Speed Following
For conveyors running at variable speeds, the optional APSF (Automatic Product Speed Following) module measures product speed and adjusts dispensing on the fly, so the applicator always keeps pace.
Flexible Intelligence
An early-warning system tells the operator to load new labels before they run out, and flags maintenance needs such as a new dust filter. The CPU firmware is upgradeable, so new features can be added as your requirements change.
High Connectivity
All common connectivity comes as standard: Ethernet, serial, USB and CompactFlash (CF).
Intuitive Operation
Every parameter can be edited, stored and recalled from the built-in control panel — set it up once and go. An optional remote display lets operators adjust settings from a distance, or from either side of the line.
